Legislation of Interest

During the course of a numbered Congress (which lasts two years), several thousand bills are introduced.  Among them are many of particular interest to AFSA members.  Besides tracking and influencing the introduction of these bills, your AFSA representatives work hard on Capitol Hill to garner additional sponsors for the desirable bills, and we labor to stop legislation that would not be in our members’ interests.  Members having questions about specific pieces of legislation should contact AFSA’s directorate of Military and Government Relations.
